If your business has a GST registration, you can skip this: the GST certificate works. If not, the Udyam certificate is the fastest document Meta accepts in India.
Steps
1. Go to udyamregistration.gov.in. 2. Choose 'For new entrepreneurs'. 3. Enter the Aadhaar number of the owner and confirm the OTP. 4. Enter the PAN. 5. Fill the business name, address, activity (services) and bank details. 6. Submit. The certificate PDF is available the same day, often within minutes.
What to write
Write the business name exactly as you want Meta to show it, with the address you will use everywhere. Meta will compare what you type later against this certificate, letter for letter.
Cost
Nothing. The government site is free. Ignore agents and websites that charge for it.
