The number your customers already have is valuable. Here is exactly what happens to it.
The usual way: the number moves
A number can be registered either on the WhatsApp app on a phone or on the official business platform, not both at once in the standard setup. To move it, you delete the WhatsApp account on that phone (your chats can be backed up first), and we register the same number on the platform. From then on customers message the same number and the assistant answers. You reply from your own phone through the owner commands and the dashboard.
The newer way: keep the app too
Meta now offers, for many numbers that use the WhatsApp Business app, a way to connect the same number to the platform while still using the app on the phone. Whether it is available depends on Meta's rules for your number and country at the time. We check on the first call and use it where it works.
The simple way: a new number
Many businesses take a new SIM for ₹100 to ₹200, put it on the platform, and print a QR code and a short message for regulars. The old number keeps working on the phone for personal chats.
What we need from you
The number, the phone that holds it for a few minutes to receive a code, and a decision on which of the three ways suits you. We handle the rest.
