Display name
The name shown on a business number in WhatsApp. Reviewed by Meta against the business's documents and website.
The display name must be a real business name connected to the verified business: the legal name, a trade name on the website, or a brand clearly linked to it. Meta rejects generic names and names of other brands.
Changing it later is possible, but each change goes through a review.
Why it matters
A rejected display name holds up the whole setup, so pick the one on your documents or website.
