Quick reply (Instagram)
A tappable chip under an Instagram DM, up to 13 per message, 20 characters each.
Quick replies are Instagram's version of WhatsApp's buttons and lists. The assistant can offer up to 13 chips under a message, each up to 20 characters, and the customer taps one instead of typing. They disappear once tapped.
Dunnflow uses them for menus and booking questions on Instagram. When a question has more than 13 options, the assistant sends a numbered list and the customer replies with a number.
Why it matters
Chips keep conversations short and guide the customer to the next step, which is what makes a booking flow work in a DM.
